I have been getting good vibes from reading about Rev Barry, so I decided it was time for me to make an appointment. This man has a loving, calm energy. I felt at ease in his presence. He intuitively scanned me for physical symptoms and identified them correctly and sent healing energy through my body. My reading was mostly about a certain life situation which has been consuming me for a very long time. Although I never mentioned this at all, he saw that I was "trapped" in this and I needed to let it go, as it was making me physically and emotionally unwell. He helped me to understand that I did the best I could. He also connected with my loved ones, describing them very well and letting me know that they are still with me and are very much at peace. A very comforting message.

After having sessions with a couple of psychics a few years ago, my next step was to visit a Medium so when I stumbled on Rev. Barry King’s post on FaceBook I thought …. oh this is very interesting. With a great deal of thought I decided to set up an appointment with Rev Barry. I was very nervous and just wasn’t sure what to expect. I actually had thoughts of getting up and leaving while waiting for his entrance. Well to my dismay when Rev. Barry arrived I immediately became very much at ease and had such a warm feeling come over me that I thought - Wow he is so sincere and calm. When he started talking about my biological parents and some of my past, I thought – how does he know so much about me. As time passed and he connected with somebody who has and will always be very “Dear” to me, I immediately felt so peaceful with myself. He proceeded to describe my grandmother who raised me as I always had remembered her – always busy caring for everyone. I thought what a compassionate, caring and accurate man Rev, Barry is to re-affirm a number of things I was not sure about that had occurred in my earlier years. He told me about some health issues that I currently endure. As I left his office that day I immediately drove to the cemetery where a number of my “Dear Ones” now lie and it was truly a wonderful feeling to know they are at peace. I would highly recommend Rev. Barry to everyone who needs to address physical and spiritual issues. His level of clarity, compassion and security excels anything that I have ever witnessed before. Please go with an open mind and he will zero in on your life as a whole while making you feel calm and at ease.

Making the decision to go see Rev. Barry for a reading was one of the best decisions I could have made. I had heard very good things about him but simply had not taken the step of booking an appointment until one day when I did so on the spur of the moment. Rev. Barry is the "real deal"-- he has a wonderful gift and he shares his gift in a way that is compassionate, down to earth, and entertaining too. When he did my reading it was so accurate and so validating for me. He knew exactly how I was feeling and expressed it in such a way that my feelings made even more sense to me. I met Barry King a few years ago when a friend suggested we go to his workshop on Auras. I was eager and not disappointed. This year my daughter sent me a link to Barry's private or group meetings being held in Summerside and I emailed right away for an appointment. We sat in comfortable chairs and he explained his method. I was open to whatever happened and he started talking about my family as though I had given him a history of my life (I had not). I have been to Rev King , I must say I was pleasantly surprised..... He was spot on with me, didn't expect that. This man is the real deal, he is warm and considerate and just so amazing,as soon as I sat with him I knew it was the real thing. Rev. Barry is an interesting and perceptive man with many talents and a caring and calming presence. I have always know that when someone leaves this physical world something of them remains with those who love them. I know my Mum is with me since passing from this world and Rev. Barry confirmed that belief. It was a reaffirming experience to have Rev. Barry connect with my Mum, describe her personality and the bond we share. He also identified other family members both in the physical world and the world beyond.

Rev. Barry was able to correctly identify where I am in my life, that I am happy and content and he told me about some minor heath issues that I was already aware of. Rev. Barry was aware of my interest in the spirit world and he encouraged me to develop the ability to connect with spirit myself, something I look forward to working on. We moved to PEI in 1996 and shortly after that time I was introduced to Barry King, whose gift of clairvoyance was quite outstanding. After I attended a number of his services and workshops, I felt as if I had known him for quite a long time. His readings were accurate in my life and I saw him work successfully with many people. I am not sure if he completely realized or remembered that on a few occasions while on the way into or out of a Thursday evening service, he would say something to me in a ‘by-the-way-manner’ that was astoundingly accurate. I considered it quite amazing, as he did not know what was going on in my life at the time.

The following is one such example of such a life changing 'by the way’ statement. Although I told a number of people about this insight, I had not mentioned it to Barry over the years, as I was off the Island working out what he foresaw.

In April of 2006 I was leaving one of his services and while getting my coat on Barry said, ‘Very shortly, on the way home, you will get a telephone call that will mean major changes to your life and career.” After leaving his home and upon turning the corner onto the Arterial Highway from St. Peter’s Road, my cell phone started ringing in my purse. Because I was driving, I did not answer the phone but thought - “there it is”. After arriving home and preparing myself by adopting a protectively sceptical mindset, I picked up the voice mail. The phone message was from a recruiting firm in British Columbia inviting me for an interview in Inuvik, Northwest Territories. After the interview I was awarded the position, which started a seven year amazing adventure for my husband and I.

Four delightful senior management years in Inuvik followed by another 3 years working from Calgary with the three northern territories - NWT, Nunavut and the Yukon was an experience I deeply cherished. It certainly brought about a major positive change in my career and personal life. Thank you Rev Barry.

I immediately felt comfortable meeting with Rev. Barry King from the time he greeted me in the lobby until I left. I had the good fortune of being in Charlottetown and being able to see Rev Barry in person. If you’re struggling with some questions you have in your life I can highly recommend a visit.

My session went like this – from the moment he started and with the first words out of his mouth it was as if he was reviewing my innermost struggles. Not only was the information incredibly accurate but by having it spoken out loud by another person I was able to “get it” and see what the inner dilemma was. I’ve been in Reike sessions and I’ve seen therapists before, but before I met Barry no one had ever been able to provide me with insights at the level that Barry articulated. And certainly not within five minutes of meeting someone for the first time. There were no questions asked, I just sat and listened as my life was unfolded in a very kind and gentle way by this very warm and caring individual.

There was nothing flashy, nothing gratuitous about the session and it was all done in such a matter of fact manner that it almost seemed like this was how all therapists should work. Of course after I left and I thought about what he had told me and how he had done it, I realized that I had never met an individual with these abilities before. I’m not sure what he was tapping into – my mind, the quantum field, the spiritual realm – call it what you like but these insights have led me to a whole new realization about my situation and how to positively move forward in my life. Before I met Barry I was pretty sure there are higher realms of spirit – call it what you like – that surround us all and that link us all together. When I was growing up I was told I was supposed to have “faith” that this was the case, but it took someone like Barry King to let me know that this is indeed undeniable concrete fact. I found the whole experience utterly amazing and incredibly helpful.

I felt a sense of calmness come over me as soon as I entered Rev. Barry's waiting room. It was absolutely beautiful with pictures, statues, flowers and plants, calming music and the sounds of the water fountain. I felt a great connection to Rev. This past week I had the pleasure of a spiritual reading with Rev. Barry King. He was referred to me by my niece and I must admit I was a little apprehensive about the appointment. I lost my daughter this past January and I needed to be reassured that she was now in a good place and he certainly confirmed that for me.Some of the things that he talked to me about were exactly the same as he had told my niece without ever knowing of any connection between us and they were unusual things about my daughter's life that he could not have known without having been in touch with her spirit. I was feeling very low when I decided to take the time and go and try a session with Rev. Barry King.....well I certainly got a lot more out of it then I ever thought I would. He validated so many things for me, it was totally amazing. The fact that he picked up on so many emotions it was remarkable. A certain aspect of my life had beaten me down so low and I couldn't get past the feeling of wondering was it all my fault. Well I left there knowing that a certain past relationship was both mentally abusive and toxic and that was indeed a weight lifted!

Although I believe that there are spirits, 'ghost's, guides I was not sure that there was a connection for me. I was obviously drawn to Dr. King for a reason and since he came recommended from someone I trust totally I figured 'why not'? So there was a some skepticism as well as nervousness. The first time I'd been to see Rev. Barry King, about 15 years ago, he told me one of the spirits around me was a brother who likely had been a miscarriage for my mother before I was born. That he had chosen to "grow up" with our family, and was very connected to us. I recently went back for a reading, this time with my two sisters. I was curious to see if Barry would mention a brother again, especially since my sisters were with me.

He did.

In fact, when I asked him to talk about the spirits he was speaking with, the first words from Barry's mouth were "did you have a brother?" I went to Rev. Barry King with an open mind and an open heart, and I walked out of there feeling at peace, and having complete closure. My dad passed in 2009 very suddenly, he lived away and I never made it to say good-bye to him, I have spent years just hoping he knew I tried my best to get there.I just felt like I had no closure. I had my 3rd reading from Barry, once in April and September 2013, then again December 6, 2013; that in itself must tell you that I am very happy with what I hear.

My husband of 42 years passed away November 10, 2012. My first visit helped me to feel more positive about my own life, in September Len's spirit reinforced that he knew the troubles and trials of life I had experienced and that he agreed with all the decisions I had made and he was glad to see I was planning for the future now and that he was around to guide me often.

I’ve just returned from accompanying a friend for her first reading with Barry King. My friend was as excited as I get after a reading from Barry. But, on the drive home, I realized that one of the things I love best about Barry’s readings is the comfort that I get from them. And so did my friend. We both left Barry’s remembering that, yes, the world really is unfolding as it should. When you worry as much as my friend and I both do (and we have big things to worry about, like most people) and you’ve lost as many people from this earth as my friend and I have, it’s wonderful to be reminded by our spirit guides that they are there for us, watching and guiding and waiting for us. And Barry has a wonderful faith-based way of drawing those spirit guides near. It has just occurred to me that the spirit guides must have a lot of faith in Barry and trust in him to remove his ego and let the message flow.

I’ve heard other people who can channel the good things the universe has to offer. But what I find most endearing about Barry is the removal of ego. He keeps that part of himself grounded- or his wife Sandy does!! And I believe this is what sets him apart. It must be very powerful stuff to be able to talk to the folks who have crossed over to the next world. And it must be hard to remember always that the power comes from a source other than self.

So often I’ve seen people come away from a meeting with a clairvoyant with initial excitement, only to be disappointed after a few months when the things they wished for didn’t come true. Barry never lets you abdicate responsibility for your own life and your own choices (although sometimes I wish!) His messages are not so much about predicting your future as helping you make sense of your past and your present and the people in it. For me dealing with the life I’m living is more than enough and I can use any help I can get with it! So often I leave Barry’s feeling like I can trust and don’t need to hang on and worry and control the outcome. I can live free of at least some of it, enjoy my life and turn my energy to the creative activities that feed my soul. And that is no small feat and nothing to scoff at. Thank you Barry!

He knew all the details, and actually communicated things with me that my uncle was saying and had said to me in the past that he had no way of knowing. "My sister and I went to see Rev. King and were amazed by his accuracy. My sister was having a lot of stress in her life due to her home life and Rev. King pointed this out and explained what she had to do to correct the problem. Stop being a pushover! He gave her advice regarding her future career and spoke of her relationship with our mother. Rev. King made contact with our father, who had crossed over, and gave great detail about him and his life. Rev. King said my father had an injury to one of his fingers and that even though in the after life his hand is healed, our father was pointing this out so we would know it was him.

"This man is the real deal! I came across his page on Facebook by chance one day, and the things he spoke about resonated with me, so I checked out his webpage.

I had a reading in June 2013, and I have been going through a very difficult time in terms of stress (with work especially), and letting other people’s emotions and situations get to me, which was weighing me down significantly. I didn’t know how to work through my issues, and I felt extremely frustrated and lost inside. Like I was drowning or suffocating in my own head. It felt like a spiritual identity crisis. I was amazed at how soon as the reading started, Barry picked up on those feelings immediately! I have known Barry since 2006 when he performed our wedding ceremony. I remember as Brian and I tried to tied up the last minute items with us both working and lots of other committments, we went to see Barry for the last time before our service. When we left both of us looked at each other and I stated don't you feel strangely calm now. Brian agreed.

After this I began going to Barry's Thursday night groups. I have blessed with a sixth sense and was looking for somewhere to feel normal since I had known about his background.

I was so excited to meet with Rev. Barry, I had never met him before, but I had been in an emotionally dark place since my Dad’s death in 2004, I had to do something, desperate to find a verbal answer. I also went into the reading with a healthy dose of skepticism, I wanted to know also if Rev. could help with a current situation, as well.

I did not want to bring my father up, but Rev Barry did know, he introduced that I had been having trouble accepting the death of a man that had passed, not recently, but a number of years ago, He had it, he knew. He gave emotional accounts that I had and he was right on. I’ve just returned from accompanying a friend for her first reading with Rev Barry King. My friend was as excited as I get after a reading from Barry. But, on the drive home, I realized that one of the things I love best about Barry’s readings is the comfort that I get from them. And so did my friend. We both left Barry’s remembering that, yes, the world really is unfolding as it should. When you worry as much as my friend and I both do(and we have big things to worry about, like most people) and you’ve lost as many people from this earth as my friend and I have, it’s wonderful to be reminded by our spirit guides that they are there for us, watching and guiding and waiting for us. And Barry has a wonderful faith-based way of drawing those spirit guides near. It has just occurred to me that the spirit guides must have a lot of faith in Barry and trust in him to remove his ego and let the message flow.

I’ve heard other people who can channel the good things the universe has to offer. But what I find most endearing about Barry is the removal of ego. He keeps that part of himself grounded - or his wife Sandy does!! :-) And I believe this is what sets him apart. It must be very powerful stuff to be able to talk to the folks who have crossed over to the next world. And it must be hard to remember always that the power comes from a source other than self.

So often I’ve seen people come away from a meeting with a clairvoyant with initial excitement, only to be disappointed after a few months when the things they wished for didn’t come true. Barry never lets you abdicate responsibility for your own life and your own choices (although sometimes I wish!) His messages are not so much about predicting your future as helping you make sense of your past and your present and the people in it. I have had several reading with Barry and every one of them were amazing. The first one was a dozen years ago when I was beginning a new relationship some time after a very messy and painful separation. I was quite concerned about entering a new relationship after the heartache from the last one but Barry assured me that this new person in my life would be good for me and vice versa. After all this time, I would say Barry was right on. At that same reading Barry was mentioning something about my daughter having a milk allergy which was not true…at that time. Some time later, my daughter who became pregnant and drank copius amounts of milk developed a sensitivity to milk. Many years ago I was in the throes of struggling with how to get a small business started. While on my way to a service at The Interfaith Ministry, traveling with a friend of mine, we discussed the ins and outs of how I could possibly make this happen. That evening Reverend Barry, at the end of the service, offered short messages & I chose to receive one. After taking my hand briefly, he paused with eyes closed, and after appearing to be listening intently, saying thank you, began to speak to me. He said: "You have an idea that you've been working on." I responded with a yes and Rev Barry continued telling me that this idea was like a little piglet, running around, with me intently chasing, trying to get hold of it. I was so surprised since this analogy fit exactly with what my friend & I had just been discussing all the way there, not 2 hrs. before! He continued to say that I was in fact going to grab hold of this piglet adding: "Remember, little piglets grow into big pigs"!! I was astounded and excited. Soon after, my business came into being and in fact did progress into a big pig, and I am happy to say, is still in existence today. Reverend Barry King has a gift for which I have been thankful many times. I again received this assistance during trying times and once when I was at a crossroads with my job, receiving wonderful feedback for reflection in moving forward to make a change for the better. An example of this is the time during which I was undergoing a lot of work related stress. I explained to Barry that I was combating this by going for regular massage therapy to relieve tense muscles that had been incapacitating. Back in 2001, I was going through a very difficult, confusing, and what would turn out to be painful time in my life. Not only was I experiencing health problems, but my marriage was unravelling. I’m not sure how, but I had heard of Barry King, and likely because I was feeling so lost in life, I decided to see him for a reading. Being somewhat skeptical, I called and made an appointment from a phone booth, just to be sure that Rev. Barry didn’t see my name on the call display. As well, I gave him only my first name.

I did not know Rev. Barry; he did not know me. We had never met prior to this appointment. The day I went to see him, I was a bit nervous, somewhat excited and not sure if I believed any of this “psychic stuff.”

Upon entering his residence, I was struck by the calm and peacefulness of the place: comfortable furniture, a large assortment of plants, stained glass, figurines, candles and other spiritual paraphernalia. In the background, I could hear water trickling from a fountain. There was no doubt that this was a sacred place.

Rev. Barry met me in the entrance and invited me in. Kindness and caring radiated from him. We settled into his office where he does his readings. He commenced by explaining the process to me and letting me know that he would record the reading for my future reference. First, he did a brief healing, and then the reading began. Although I can’t remember all the details this many years later, there are a couple of things that I will never forget as long as I live.

The first part of the reading didn’t reveal too much for me and as such, I don’t recall too much about it; however, as Rev. Barry moved along, that was about to change. He began to talk about challenges and changes in my life, which I know sounds pretty vague as who doesn’t experience challenge and change? However, it was a timely comment considering that in only another month or two, my husband and I would separate and it would be several years before I had my health issues under control.

Then things started to get interesting. Rev. Barry acknowledged the fact that I had two children, a boy, the older of the two, and a girl. He said that although my personal challenges would be difficult for them, they would be just fine. I was somewhat impressed that he seemed to be aware of my children and the fact that my son was the older of the two. He went on to say that my children had chosen to come into the world, into this situation, and that everything would work out for them. Looking back, he was right. Both of my children are doing well, and their lives are unfolding as they should

Towards the end of the reading something happened that I can truly say made me a believer. Rev. Barry said there was a female presence in the room with us. He paused for a moment and said, “It’s your grandmother.” At this point, I really sat up and listened. After another pause, during which he seemed to be listening to something, he said, “H - Her name begins with an H.” Then he said, “Helen.” I remember looking at him in shock, seriously thinking I should jump and run. He went on to say, “She died young. Cancer, I think. A very beautiful woman. She wants you to know that she has always been with you. She thinks you’re a lot like her, and she’s always been very interested in you.”

I was absolutely floored. My maternal grandmother’s name was indeed Helen. She died at the age of forty from cancer, and prior to her illness, she had been known for both her physical beauty (wish I looked more like her) and her beautiful personality. I can’t describe the feelings that arose in me as I listened to Rev. Barry talk about the woman I had always longed to meet but who died before I was born.

Throughout the reading, I had the sense that Rev. Barry was very aware of what was going on in my life, but it seemed he was trying to choose his words carefully. At the time, I wished he had been more direct, but I suppose there was a reason that he “talked around” my situation. My guess is that it had something to do with not influencing me and respecting my own free will.

I left that day feeling a bit of hope in what seemed like a dismal situation. Things didn’t get any easier after that day. Life as I knew it fell apart shortly after that, but in the darkest times, I held on to the idea that my grandmother was with me as Rev. Barry had said. Today, I am happy to say that I survived my dark night of the soul as I like to call it. I am healthy, content, and feel absolutely blessed in so many ways. Rev. Barry was right. Things did work out, and life continues to unfold as it should.

I felt a piece of my life puzzle was missing, and I was longing for internal peace. Into my 30s I started reading self-help books that would leave me wanting and searching for more information.

Last week I attended a channeling session with Barry. I knew that I would get insights into my life but it continues to amaze me how detailed and timely the messages are. This one was no exception. There are two themes that I always hope for guidance with, love and work. Recently I realized that if I set the intention to have the message focused on those things it will be, but never in the way that I would expect. The message brings the things that are on the edges of my consciousness into focus and affirms which path I need to choose in the crossroads I am facing at the time.

This is a time of transition in my life. I have been involved in a relationship for the last 15 months that ended last week. I find breaking up very difficult and the phrase that kept going though my head was that I needed to pass through the eye of the needle in order to move forward. At the same time there is another man who I have been drawn to for several years and we had started to be in more regular contact in the days leading up to my breakup. In many ways he is a better match but I feel uncertain about this change. In my channeled message Barry said, “sometimes you feel like you need to pass through the eye of a needle to achieve your goal. But now it won’t be necessary anymore and in the not distant future you will no longer stand alone.” That gave me goosebumps. It captured the moment in time that I was experiencing exactly and reassured me that I was on the right path.

And my work? The rest of my message was about that. My work in the physical world and my spirit journey are inextricably linked, one can not progress without the other. Lately I have been working hard to find balance between work and leisure, asking for guidance in how to move forward in my life toward my highest potential. So what was the first thing that I was told? “We stand with you in your task and help in the process of finding balance. The search you are doing is important and you have to allow the energy to flow in order to move in the direction of your greatest good.”
